Newborn - love them!

Here is a quick peek before the weekend - thank you so much for letting me share in the fun of having a new baby!  She is beautiful, and I can't wait to show you the rest of the images from the photo session!

 

I am so excited!

I have 2 shipments of child-sized wings coming in for this summer's photo shoots for the Hope Calendar!

Angel wings of every variety, fairies, butterflies...

That should give a good hint of what will be in store for the 2009 calendar kids :)

I can't wait to begin!

Speechless

I am able to work on proofs from a recent photo session and this image caught my breath... not because I am such a great and wonderful photographer (though I won't argue if you say I am!) but because it reminds me of why I chose this career, begged for this career. Because babies are just soooooo beautiful - I can hardly stand it really. And because I don't ever remember any event during my career as a computer programmer that literally took my breath away :)

She works hard for the money...

Mom (and Tío) - I am so glad you stuck this out with me! It is a lot of hard work to photograph a newborn - and not just for me as all my moms can attest - but so worth it...
