Looking for real moms to model - are you pregnant???

Life's Images is conducting a model call for REAL moms and babies in and around the north Houston area for new projects in the following categories:

1. Newborn twins or multiples - I would like to photograph multiples when they are just a few days old. You should submit your name before your due date.

2. Birth story - allow me to document your little one's entry into the world...you should apply before you deliver and make sure your birth facility is OK with the idea.

Models chosen will be invited for a session and gifted several portraits to keep - we will discuss details. Please submit your information including due dates, how/where you plan to deliver, some photos of yourself and any questions you have to debi@lifesimages.com

*Please note that these are not "regular" client-oriented sessions. The images will be captured with the intent to be used by me as promotional, artistic, perhaps even publishing purposes (permission for use is required).*

Wow!!! Beautiful artist

I thought you might enjoy:

I especially love the art plaques and vintage art she does.  The murals are amazing (too bad she is not local to Houston)!

Beautiful family

It is so exciting when a family grows!
In the hustle and bustle of getting into a new baby routine, especially with an energetic 3 year old, sometimes it is nice to slow down and enjoy... even if it is just for a few hours patiently waiting for a baby too excited to go to sleep :)

Curious

I photograph a lot of newborns, so the pace of a session is a bit different when a 4 year old walks in the door...
Curious and talkative - yet still so beautiful and innocent. I love my job!

Face of an Angel...

The Tooth Fairy

ain't it precious!

Baby Faire winners!!!

Thanks to all those who visited Life's Images during the American Baby Faire. I am somewhat new to the area and really enjoyed meeting all the great mothers all around Houston! I hope you enjoyed the booth - and remember to come back and see who won the free session drawing!

When I saw how many great entries we had, I decided to draw 3 lucky winners instead of just 1!
I will be calling you in the morning, but I thought it would be fun to see if you could find out before I called you!

Angela Vaughan
Christy Thomas
America Alamos

I hope I spelled names correctly :)

Win a portrait session

Life's Images will be exhibiting at the American Baby Faire at Reliant Center!
Come by and register to win a portrait session and 2 prints...
and to say HI :)

Fun trivia for moms!

This article highlights some of the cool statistics about birth in the United States - a subject with which all us moms are familiar!

Some I found especially "cool":
More than 4 million babies are born in the United States each year

Older women have a greater chance of conceiving twins spontaneously (that might be good to know!)

There are 1,048 baby boys for every 1,000 baby girls — a ratio that's stayed about the same over the past 60 years (isn't it amazing how nature does this consistently across an entire population?)

The most popular day for babies to make their entrance is Tuesday (mine came on a Saturday and Monday...)
